Not yet. Unless you can dump Pánik or Hathaway

McMichael is definitely going to play for Hershey this fall, no? I think he'll be brought in for 2021 after we lose someone in the Seattle draft or trade someone. I think the casualty might be Eller, tbh. We probably leave Eller and Oshie exposed.

That will allow McMichael to sit comfortably in the 3C slot at age 20 going on 21? Seems like he'll be ready then.

Also, don't forget about Brett Leason.

I think mcmichael would need to go back to juniors. He’s not able to play on the AHL next season

It’s a stupid rule where he either plays nhl or juniors again. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure that’s how it works.

Do you think he will qualify for a norris then? Josi would probably get it I think

Imo Carlson will win by a landslide. He’s hands down the best defenseman in the NHL (this year). Easily a top 10 player in the NHL this year.

But defensive ability a huge deterrent in Norris consideration. Well, maybe not. Karlsson won it twice. So maybe you're right!

Carlson is a pretty solid defensive player also. He’s clearly way better at offense but he’s solid in both ends imo.
