Sabers selling low on Miller is a mistake. With that being said if they make this call Dubas does this without a second thought

Colin miller 82 games played 41pts
Colin miller 65 games played 29pts

He was arguably one of Vegas's best defenceman during their run to the finals.
Once he moved to Buffalo it went bad in a hurry. Its very clear its not the right situation.
If he was moved to an already established team like Toronto he would be in the top 4 for sure and most likely next to Rielly.
So your saying a bottom 6 winger who the Leafs have been the best team in the league without him in the lineup and a postion that the Leafs have the most depth in their organization wouldnt be traded for a potential top 4 defenceman. A player who has produced at a high level has stanley cup final experience. So again you are absolutely out of ur mind if u think Dubas wouldnt love this deal. Moore must be from your hometown or something

It seems all RHD in the league, even healthy scratches from non playoff teams are better than Leafs. Now if you truly think Miller is going to hold his value for two years at 3m...yep the Leafs do the trade. But the reality is the Leafs are probably better spending 3m elsewhere than on Miller.

He played 82 games in his first year in Vegas and was the highest scoring defenseman during that year. He may have been scratched in his second season but correct me if im wrong he also had a minor injury during that time.

Speaking of scratches moore is going to be one when he gets back hell he may find himself out of the lineup the way the current roster has been playing.

Wouldnt trade a 4th liner for a dman that scored 41pts in the NHL a couple seasons ago. WOW

Moore is injured right now, he will be on team when healthy.
Keefer is believer in him.

Miller is not that 41 point D man now.
Vegas traded him because he was the worse than the other guys.

Without the injuries for Buffalo, would Miller have played 30 or so games he has so far? I think not.

Leafs fans, they’ll do Montour for a 5th round pick ONLY if that 5th round pick is low
