Is there really a better option than Sandin to weather this Rielly injury

Not in the organization. I think Dillon or Brodie May be coming till TDL.

Personally I would put sandin on the second pair.

I certainly wouldn't give him Ceci to play with, or Barrie, he has to play with Holl. He's the only RHD that can play defensively.

Brodie's best seasons are when he's played on Gio's right side. For whatever reason he struggles on the left so I dont think he's your answer.

Toronto could use a guy like Dillon though.

I just don't think either are really all that great. Brodie is fine but I am not sure he's worth the price it will be to get him. Sandin looked really good earlier in the season and I think he'll be fine. I never like seeing a team panic and overspend to address an injury issue. Just figure it out. Obviously Rielly is a huge loss and we'll have to deal with that for the next couple of weeks or so until Muzz is back. I imagine the prices for a stopgap are going to be extremely high and I just don't think it'll be worth the longterm damage a move like that will cause.

I think Dillon would come cheap. The Brodie idea scares me. Especially with Calgary calling up an 8th Dman.
