its not very probable but if georgie can really play its a young goalie and no need to pay an older rask after next offseason.

yeah but he'll be 34 by the time his deal is up so i dont think its a given

As opposed to handing the keys over to a guy that has played 60 NHL games with a GAA over 3? Ya, if that’s the decision it’s kind of a given.

I feel like hes capable of having better numbers behind bruins defender And can be good backup, dont forget tuuka Is aging and the bruins are gonna have cap issues

Most goalies play into their late 30's a peak level. I'm more worried about what the numbers on his next contract will be as opposed to if he'll lose a step.

I like rask and you can see him getting a 3 year deal maybe but goalies playing at a peak level late is more an exception than the rule. With nothing in the pipeline i just think its not a terrible thing not that i think it would happen.

Honestly I think he'll get a 5 year 9-10mil deal. Numbers wise he's one of the best in the league and it'll be his final contract, so he's going to want to maximize. I don't know that the Bruins make that commitment to him though.

Anyone giving a 34 year old goalie 9 million gets what they deserve
