The trades are not bad I just dont think San Jose will give up Hertl because as long as Doug Wilson is there gm I dont think they will rebuild

I would target couture if you are desperate enough, he would come far cheaper maybe even less than you have proposed.

That would be a huge overpay, Cozens is a top 5 prospect in the league right now.

Yeah and Hertl is a crazy good young Center signed for 2.5 more years that the sharks have no incentive to move. We aren’t giving him up unless we get a top 20 prospect and Mittel has failed at the NHL level

What would you think on the Hertl offer if it was top-3 protected instead of top-10? Still not enough?

I agree with you that the current offer is not enough
