The Boston deal makes alot of sense. Important salary dump for them and they lose a late 1st rounder. Edm would also take a serious look at that deal. Brown played on a line with Mcdavid in the OHL and pageau is a scoring winger that Edm clearly needs.

Brown and Pageau for PP+1st is an overpay.

They also dont have the cap, nor will next year to resign them. We would have to take cap back.

Imo he will be a starter if he isn’t already. With prospects in every position (except for 1c) the sens will be contending within 5 years. they need a goaltender for the future. Georgiev could be that guy. If not you trade him and hope one of your prospects pan out. The thing is that georgiev is proven over like 40 games and he is good. He seems like a guy the sens could use in the future
