Most experts believe the Rangers will get a 1st round pick and a good prospect for Kreider. Boston would have to offer a 1st round pick and a prospect like Studnicka, but even if that was offered NYR might instead chose a 1st round pick and a similar prospect from another team.

Don't see Anaheim giving up Zegras for McAvoy if it were a one for one swap, never mind a solid defenseman and a likely very high first for a c prospect and awful Brett Ritchie

Agreed with you on that the value for kreider is a first and a prospect. I do not see Boston giving up a prospect like Studnicka though for kreider, the bruins seem to be very high on him.

Depending on what the return is for kreider, i would love to see them do something where they flip that first rounder for a roster player similar to what they did for trouba.

this is nonsense. Most experts are talking about how teams are less and less willing to give up 1st round picks because of the analytics that it isn't a good bet for teams and usually it doesn't work.
Which is why more and more teams aren't making trade deadline deals unless the players come with term.
It's why you here like 3 GMs now all saying the same thing. "want a guy with term"
The valuations have been dropping. Especially when looking at a deep draft class. People realize there isn't a whole ton of value into paying huge costs into rentals. Most people realize the prices are going down not up.

no one is clicking your link.
don't even know why you bother with that mess.

FFS even TSN is quoting studies on teams not wanting to move their 1sts because it's ineffective.
