Uh 3 things

1) Backes himself costs taking a 1st
2) Urho + 1st is the cost of Kreider
3) Rangers won't take a Dman in a trade, they have too many

You wanna swap Urho for Beecher and drop Backes, or would you rather swap Urho for Beecher and ADD a 1st?

Dude it’s a solid deal for the rangers.

So:

Rangers...interesting. Their cap issues likely prevent it tho.

Thornton has an NMC, hates B’s org, and he’s washed up and offers nothing. No from both ends of it.

That does not get Toffoli.

Moore and Nordstrom are not worth that.

Heinen is worth more than that.

All great points I'am sure I'am a little off on value a bit for some players maybe the rangers deal needs another good prospect or pick due to backes negative value.

Nah, his trade value is 2nd and Lauko...maybe. Upgrading to Urho (B’s top ranked prospect) and a 1st is enough. Let’s see what Backes decides to do first. If he retires it changes the narrative.

Urho and a first being the price tag for Kreider is laugh out loud funny.
