3,6M Backup and 30 teams to help you being Cap compliant....sounds about right.......

Van and Chicago trades don't happen.

Not sure you've given enough value for Demelo but it's a start. Your pairings are weird though. I would think right now they would be:

Dermott- Demelo
Muzzin-Holl
Sandy-Barrie

Lily is back in the AHL, Rielly takes first pair when he's back and Derms goes to third with Sandin going back to the AHL. Probably the best you're going to do.

I am listening to offers for Murray (Pit) or Holtby (Was)... pre-deadline offers...

The idea is a 1A 1B tandem, and then signing Markstrom to take over for Andersen in a couple years. Just an idea.

One of Crawford or Lehner is gone next year, so maybe they'd take a flyer on Hutch. idk.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't think Dermott or Demelo are top pairing guys though, and I still want Barrie as top RD. As for the Vancouver/Chicago trades, tbh this is the first time I've ever done a armchair GM team and I was just trying to see if any trade would actually work. Chicago is definitely a pipe dream, but Vancouver needs scoring depth and is probably looking to trade Markstrom...idk, something could maybe happen

Markstrom has been awesome this year. I don't think they are in any hurry to trade Markstrom or Demko (there's just a lot of posts on here because of what The Athletic wrote about them needing to move one before the Seattle draft). They have lots of time to do that and a deadline deal when they are in the heat of the playoff race is not the time.

Demelo's stats from Ottawa look awesome. Considering he is spending most of his time dragging Boroweicki to good results he has looked good. I don't think he's the prototypical #1 Dman but I don't think the Leafs can honestly hope to acquire that type of player without taking on somebody with a lot of flaws or who will cost far too much. Demelo would instantly become the best partner Rielly has ever had, and if you can keep Muzzin as well, that's a solid dcore for next year.
