I’m not a fan of either team...
But there’s ZERO CHANCE the Ducks do anything like this

They could sell off those guys separately & get a better return

Quantity does not necessarily equal quality
It’s not Xbox

Not really.

Heinen and Kase are a wash.

1st/Frederic/Seny for Rakell is pretty fair.

Mac/Backes for Lindholm.

I’d say it’s pretty well even.

Neither team would do it. But Ducks don’t get a whole lot more selling them individually other than not taking Backes.

Oh I know , even when he's obviously wrong he just turns it into a pissing contest. Just read this damn feed

The best comment “It takes a lot to annoy me”. Lol, really? MFer wakes up annoyed and only gets worse throughout the day. Lol.

You’re seeing this through the eyes of a Bruins fan’s bias

Uh, ya, so the best player in this trade, like 10 times over, is mcavoy. So you are right, quantity does not necessarily equal quality, which is why boston wouldn’t do this.

Lol. Ok, homer

That’s just indisputable bud. Sorry If you didn’t watch hockey after the Sabers imploded last year, but it’s not even subjective.

It’s called reality. Try it some time.

Heinen and Kase are both 24 year old wings that have averaged 39 pts per 82g gor their career. Kase is more of a sniper and strictly RW. Heinen’s game is more well rounded and plays all 3 fw slots. Pretty even.

Rakell is worth 1st/high end prospect/and 3rd. He has a great contract but that does not mean he gets a Gretzky return. 1st/Frederic/Seny fits that bill. The prospects are negotiable but the value is there.

11 years of Mac is worth more than 2 of Lindholm. Especially when Ducks have a lot of good young LD ready and nothing on the right side.

Ducks win this trade without Backes in it. Taking on 4m cap hit next year to buy him out levels it out some but that is only 1 year. Small price to pay.

Maybe you are the one looking at it through biased eyes. ??‍♂️

So let’s here what your values for them should be. This ought to be fun.

What do you think Buffalo should have tp pay for them individually?

How about Dahlin/Okposo/Vesey/Asplund/Pekar/2nd

Think Ducks pass?

You can definitely argue some of the pieces. But the goal or the win/win when you are trading with a team that maybe going into a rebuild is that you trade something that helps you now and helps the other team in the future. And in that spirit I do think this trade is fairly even. I think Boston is taking on way more risk here because MacAvoy will be a number 1 that is for sure. But he has potential to be a top 3 defence in the league. Even as I created the post I was second guessing trading him at all.

Here’s how UNARGUABLY BIAS you are...

“11 years of (21year old) McAvoy”
VS
“2 years of (26year old) Lindholm”

It’s frankly just dumb to compare them like that
Really dumb
Actually... really, really dumb

Love to see u explain why u get McAvoy till 32,
but Lindholm till only 28

I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS

What a joke???

You don’t understand contracts and free agency? Ok. Cool. This is probably not the place for you to be then.

Lindholm has 2 years left and becomes a UFA and can sign with anyone. Sure they can re-sign him, no guarantee of it. Mac has another 2 years and becomes an RFA, remains under team control and will be signed to an 8 year deal. He could sign another bridge deal. And then sign an 8 year giving the team even longer term.

There is your explanation.

Don’t bother responding, i won’t see it. You are on the ignore list. Not wasting my time trying to have constructive conversation with someone as ignorant and abusive as you. Cheers. ?

Ya Brandon Carlo is my favorite player, what of it?

If you think that someone cannot be objective if they’re a fan of a certain team, you should probably find a way to block this website on your browser. Fool.
