Barrie I can't see being back. Spezza though, for sure. He's home and wants a cup. Leafs are one of the favorites for it the next couple years.

Look, I am a Leafs fan, though I'd like to think I am a realistic Leafs fan, for whatever that's worth. No doubt that this management wants this to be a competitive team yearly, but there is a very real chance this Leafs team miss the playoffs this spring. So are we really contenders? Hard to say. Would I like Spezza back? on a min league deal, sure. But It's clear Brooks and Marchment are basically ready for the NHL, so unless the Leafs get rid of some of their glut of wing depth, I can't see Spezza coming back, even though I am sure he is great for this dressing room. You don't bring him back to sit him a la Mike Babcock styles.
