Best possible under the Cap team Team
I think you could find a better 6 million dollar defenseman than Dahlin at this time, but other than that, nice looking lineup.

Jack Hughes will not be on this roster if they want to win. My opinion, but there are just too many better options..

2nd, maybe a 3rd round exit. No doubt this is a playoff team, but I don't think the depth is there to go all the way

Paper Waivers and Barabanov
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TheLeafsSeason</b></div><div>Barabanov would be lucky to make the Leafs bottom 6 with the internal competition there is now after adding Boyd and Vesey, and still having main pieces on the roster like Engvall and Robertson while Mikheyev is taking a roster spot. We have no idea who Barabanov is or how he plays. Playing him immediately on the third line would be calling for failure</div></div>
You may not have any idea who Barabanov is, but there are some that have watched him plenty. He's a good (not stunning) player and I'm confident he will play in atleast half the games this season, just due to the fact of how much depth we have. He is no slouch and that 3rd line with Ilya and Kerfoot might be one of the best 3rd lines...

Best Team Under Cap
Who'd you replace them with? I chose them for some two-way depth and to get a different mix of players rather than just all skill. If trying to win a cup, you can't do it based on pure skill. Just curious who you'd swap those 4 out for

Barrie I can't see being back. Spezza though, for sure. He's home and wants a cup. Leafs are one of the favorites for it the next couple years.

Hah I 100% agree. Thing is, they need a right handed D-man next year. They need toughness, and they need someone cheap. He fits all of those. And although not good or ideal, he's been a plus player for the stars. We're going to need someone that is cheap with the way this team is constructed

How far do they get
2 Capable goalies (one's a stud) along with a pretty solid defense, if Chara is on your 3rd line (even at the age of 42) you're D is good enough to make it, look at the bruins last year with him and the minutes he logged.. then up front, you have the best player in hockey, along side of someone who has similar skill to Draisaitl, and look how much those 2 alone can carry a team.. but giving them Mackinnon, Domi, etc up front, plus the goalies and D on this team? Hockey is random and so much can happen, but on paper, this team is a cup contender. If in NHL 20, they're "Champion"

Guerin is the GM
Complete delusional Wild fan. I am sorry, but this is what has been wrong with your GMs too. Giving up on people too early/not understanding what developing is. You said "Wahlstrom isn't the prospect he was last year." Are you kidding me?! I am a Leafs fan, but you think Zucker can get a grade A prospect in return for ONE not spectacular year? Oliver Wahlstrom is 19 years old, an 11th overall pick just 14 months ago, and has played a **** ton of hockey in the past few years. If you think he's the same value as a 27 year old Zucker, you're sadly (and badly) mistaken. One of the worst takes & armchair-gm's I've ever seen..

Habs w Caufield
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RobbStark03</b></div><div>Deep at center, deep at LW, decent at RW, deep at RD, one of the best goalies in the world. Caufield's shot could single handedly make Habs PP not a laughing stock of the NHL. They are a playoff team.</div></div>
Uhh.. I'm not sure what team you're looking at to call them deep in all those positions, but I am looking at the Canadiens roster here, and they are not deep in any position at all. They have 1-2 solid D, a few good forwards, and 1 stud goalie. An awful team? No. But calling them deep at C, with Danault, KK, and Poehling as their top 3 isn't necessarily ideal. Look at the division they're in, compare this to Stamkos, Point, Johnson. Then, Matthews, Tavares, Kerfoot. Bergeron, Krejci, Coyle. Heck, even Barkov, Trochek, Borgstrom. Again, are they bad? No. But to say they're deep at some of the positions you mentions, when comparing them to their division (let alone the entire league) is a bit ridiculous...

I hate to be negative but what is this.. where is Galchenyuk? Anaheim never accepts that trade in a million years. Ottawa likely declines as well. The roster even after your magic trades doesn't look good. IDK whats wrong man but you're obviously so biased lol this aint it.
