DeMelo has been solid for the Sens and has worked with DeBoer before, and that's all Vegas needs to put on the right side of Theodore, who has carried worse players to good defensive pairs.

As far as Galchenyuk, I don't know. Eakin has been terrible for us so I figure we might as well swap players who aren't working and see if a change of scenery helps get them going. If not we could scratch him and move on like we should with Eakin.

It also stops Vegas from giving up a 1st for players I don't think are worth it this season and this draft.

Idk if chucky is a good fit for Vegas but the pens probably accept. If for nothing else the little bit of cap space. Getting chucky is a waste though if you aren’t gonna play him in the top 6 at least, or on the right side where he is better offensively where he can use his shot better.

Keep Merrill and Schuldt. Give Ottawa your 2020 1st + 2nd and Ottawa gives back the BETTER OF THE TWO (CBJ 2nd or DAL 2nd) + their own 3rd.
