I struggle with Risto's value. I don't watch many BUF games, but from what I hear he's had a good year in less minutes. BUF fans seem like they want him gone, but want a 1st added to that type of package or Ehlers, which is a non starter IMO. I think this package looks good if they wanna move him. Maybe give them a choice of Spacek or Stanley if they have a preference

I agree...thats why I put that...WPG won't give up a first or Ehlers for him...This is prob the best trade that the Jets will be willing to give up for a RD

I always wonder how good Risto might be outside of Buffalo. I'm sure much has changed but I remember Myers feeling liberated and played at a higher level. ROR saw a 16 point jump in production when he moved to STL. BUF can't sell unrealized potential but it make you think. Winnipeg has proven to have an eye for trading for defenders that are better than they had been playing (Myers, Pionk)

More than anything. Tyler myers didn’t show any improvement in Winnipeg from his time in Buffalo.

His rookie year continues to be his best NHL season. He’s a third pairing dman on his best day, that can provide Abit of offence. Offensive blue line back, he’s a liability.

Pionk is the better version of that.

Neither is worst what they get in Free agency. Or significant needle movers
