This doesn't actually make sense for what the Rangers would be looking for. Instead of the nickels and dimes of picks and prospects that are still very far away from the NHL, they'd be looking for a single higher value asset, like a roster player or more NHL ready prospect or 1st rounders or whatever. Giving them a prospect still playing in the Q that needs to come up through the AHL, earn time there and then earn his way into the NHL when we're still waiting for Kravtsov and other D prospects to do the same doesn't line up with the plan, and 3 picks isn't intriguing to the Rangers when they're looking to start making playoff runs as soon as next year.
