Description

Not loving the goaltending, feel like with some small changes there could be a long run possible in the playoffs. Dougie Hamiltons injury creates some real issues to the already mediocre powerplay. Vatanen would nost likely be a mere rental, but couple of later round picks might ease the 1st pick hurt.
Lehner could actually be a longer term solution, if the cap space can be found.

For the upgrade Lehner is on Mrazek (based purely from a statistical perspective) there is no trade worth doing. Reimer has been fine, Mrazek has just been garbage and overplayed

Not a big fan off Mrazek either. All I care chicago can have him. Just needed to trade either one for cap space.
Statistics aside I do thing Lehner can be a true nr 1. Goalie. Even for en extended 2-3 years if he keeps it together.
He has been really good at times this season. Hawks defense just makes any goalies statistics look like ****.

It was a decent pairing. My only concern is pairing Vatanen with Gardiner. I think it would be physically weak/ bad match defence side concidering.
