not sure if pick is enough, pitt can sign someone long term after season which could be hoffman, chuky gone and they don't have to resign if he sucks, and they get backup while pitt get depth

Yeah FL isn't doing that.
Hoffman has 21 goals on the year.
30 some goals last year.
WHat are you giving up?
A backup goalie. A guy FL dished off to the penguins because they had more than enough forward depth. A cap dump in Chucky and a 3rd.

FL says go pound salt with that. They keep Hoffman and make their own playoff run.
