Yes I do realize the trades are probably unrealistic but I was aiming for the best case scenario.

Best case scenario is like 4th rounder for Galch. Staal would be best like 2nd with conditions.

Lol what are those trades? Especially the Avs trade is insane. Galchenyuk should fetch a late 4th or an early 5th at best

The Staal trade isn’t completely unreasonable, but the Galchenyuk deal is crazy. Can you imagine this - Zucker for two 1sts, Newhook, and Addison???

Unrealistic? They're laugh bad for both Carolina and Colorado. Doubt you get a 1st for Galchenyk let alone Newhook And if Carolina gives up their 1st it's for a top 4 Dman not for Eric Freaking Staal.

Stranger things have happened. Fenton traded Nino for Rask. Fiala was a good pickup but Fenton had to be talked out of trading more than just Granny for Fiala alone. Hence, the whole reason I said they are probably unrealistic. So, you're really just pointing out the obvious.

Unless Galchenyuk starts to light it up, no contender is going to want to take his cap hit without retaining salary. It's not likely for him to be traded and possibly not get extended either. It might simply be just a cap dump and why Guerin wanted Addison thrown in for Zucker. Dumba and Brodin are the most wanted on the market from the wild. But trading Brodin is a bad idea and selling low on Dumba is a terrible idea. Only way both happen is if it is full rebuild time and that is highly unlikely for multiple obvious reasons. If he trades either blueliner it needs to be for an offer that you cant say no to.
