Watched Vilardi play in the Ohl.. He's an absolute stud.. but has been battling injury for the last 4 years.

I would not rush him! Let him do his thing in the minors for a season or two.

Reports are that they will recall him today, so I am assuming they want to give him a taste of the NHL. He has been playing very well as Ontario's 1C and I believe that giving him a taste will help him in the future.

He is past all that, it is some weird back thing that some young players get that are over 6 foot, Gretzky had it and there is a youtube video by a doctor of it.

I agree that Kids like that should get rewarded. Play with the team, get an NHL salary and most importantly, give them a taste of the NHL. Even if it's just for a couple of games. Gives them extra motivation.

I hope Ottawa does the same thing with Norris.
