Description

Big cap crunch for TBL once again. With Foote ready to make the jump to the NHL next year and big RFA signings TB will be looking to ahead some RFA salary with some cost certainty while addressing a need with depth scoring and speed on the wings. The cap is not going to jump like crazy 83.5m should be around where it falls. I have Cernik a little bit more then Peterssons contract due to the fact Cernik is RH. I don’t see any major moves for TOR this off-season only moving one of Kap/Johnson/Kerfoot to make room for a Top 4 RHD

Yeah no.

Cernak is a prime candidate for offer sheet IMO, I think Tampa may not be able to match anywhere from 3 to 4.5 million.

Not just the Leafs, but every team should be trying to take advantage of Tampa's cap situation in the off-season.
