I am pretty sure that a team is going to pay Hall more than 6.375M. And correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think Deangelo is worth that much money.

The red wings are also rebuilding. Why would we take on $12 million in cap over 6 years for two players over 30 who are already starting to decline? Our first is more than likely going to be a better pick than Montreal's 1st and Robby Fabbri has been one of the few bright spots of the season for the Wings, why would we trade him away? Gallagher is a great player that the Wings would love to have but he's not worth taking on two cap dumps and a potentially lower 1st. If you want the Wings to take this you're gonna have to add at least another unprotected first and an A prospect minimum, and that's probably not even enough.
