Just a rule of thumb RE the Armia/Roslo deal. The whole point of that trade was for WPG to cut some cap so that they could stay compliant and or be able to spend cap elsewhere. That was a specific situation. Does that apply to WPG today? Do they need that much cap help in order to resign anyone or what not? Judging from their current situation and predicting what they'll need to do next year, I don't think they need to unload Perreault that much. There is even the possibility that they trade Perreault with retention for a cheap draft pick. @2M he is not a cap dump and some teams may actually be interested.

So recreating the Armia deal in this case is probably not gonna happen with WPG. Try teams like Tampa instead. They'll be tighter up against the cap than WPG will be.

I see your point and it's valid (The Jets do have options). With that in mind and the Jets cap situation of conservatively trying to sign 12 players with $10.5M. What would you value Roslovic's value at?

It's either this or clicking furiously on Tankathon. I chose this.

After Byfuglien's contract is terminated, they'll have tons of cap space. They may also have Little on LTIR based on some things I've seen... plus that was based on an 83M cap so if it dos go up to 88M they're golden. The players they have to sign are not in for big raises in the slightest.

Roslovic is a 2-3M player MAX. Pavel Zacha, Adrien Kempe, Anthony Beauvillier are all comparables IMO.
