Kapanen alone is worth more than Manson. A decent Dman (Above avereage in some defensive categories, Below avereage everywhere else) who is 28 and a UFA at the end of his contract, is not worth a 23 year old top 6 winger who has two more years left at a fair price, and is STILL an RFA after that. Before adding Liljegren it's an overpay from the Leafs.
