Description

Kings have too many good players in the pipeline. Couple players need to go in order to slot them in. Since the kings won’t get the #1 pick I’m going for NEED and drafting the natural goal scoring right winger in Holtz at 3

Draft best player available period. Regardless of position. Any good player can play any position. Some guys are dominant centers at lower levels but maybe don’t have the all around game to do that at the nhl level. Most can transition to wing. Worry about that later. Lombardi drafted by need and we ended up with Colton teubert, Trevor Lewis, and Derrick Forbort. Not complaining because we got 2 cups but there were much better players available at those slots and we were trying to fill holes instead of drafting the best guy.

He would be my BPA guy, absolutely. But in this scenario I did NEED over BPA. I know that is not ideal but I wanted something different
