It's a high point guess for FA more than a exact price. He makes 2.7 now, I'd say his low point would be around 3.1 and the markets always good for right shot dmen. All of the contracts I did are a ball park guess.

You're right about right shot dmen but he plays on the 3rd pair I believe. I think he gets no more than 3

4x5 contract for Pysyk would become one of the worst in the league in no time.

You're right, 12 mins avg; over looked that. I'd probably have to swap him for Shattenkirk then.
The Bs may take that trade. Not saying they would but my perspective on it it they still have 3-4 kids that could fill in on the LW and Cogs might produce a bit more there as opposed to Dallas. Boston has their defense to offense transition down. Oleksiak is 6'7 and is looking like he could be a top 4 dman, Boston could help him get alot better and with Chara retiring soon and them probably not wanting to give Krug that 8 mil he said he wants I feel theres value here. Tufte would be of interest to them because hes suppose to be a really big and capable defensive player at 6'6. Not saying he would have tons of value but, I think he would sweeten the deal a bit.

First off - who's your source on the US$8Mil for Krug?
(Krug has said publicly, on a few occasions, he'd consider a hometown discount and that $$ you quote ^ ^ is @ market or above if you ask me, and would make him the highest paid Bruin by a lot - not really hometown in my books)!

Bjork has been playing well (he's press-boxed for now as the newcomers get a look and his play made Heinen expendable). He's likely a big part of next years plan with mid to bottom 6 UFAs leaving yadda yadda...

Your Dallas NHL additions would be an extra >US$5M for a bottom-6, 33yr old fwd with 3G making US$3.25M (FYI the Bruins entire fourth line makes about Cogliano's single salary - so he's redundant). Oleksiak would have a very tough time cracking the B's top 4 and is more like 5/6/7th man (J Mooore already fills that roll and is expansion eligible).

Those Dallas contracts expire before expansion so they won't even be "chips" or assets to potentially get plucked by the "Kraken". Doubtful they are picked for sure, but the new team will need some experience and $$$ to help get to the floor.

Lastly, with the NHL-paused, money$/Cap is King as it may likely go down next season or be flat - Bruins will not take on +US$5Mil for sub-par assets.
