Description
Wild get lucky in the draft and pick Lafreniere with the 1st overall pick. The front-loaded contracts of Parise and Suter are traded to Florida in exchange for Bobrovsky and the back-loaded contract of Matheson. Brodin and Danault are swapped with each other and extended with their new teams. Eriksson's contract is acquired for a 1st round pick in exchange for a 50% retained Rask.

Suter won't waive his NMC, he's best friends with our owner and gets whatever he wants. While Parise was willing to waive to go to the Islanders, I don't think he'd be willing to waive to go to Florida. I'd rather have Parise and Suter than Bob anyways if I'm being honest.

I like Danault but I don't think he's what we need. Also not a fan of moving Foligno, he should be our next captain.

Canucks may accept since they'll have to pay Hughes and Pettersson, although I'm not sure they need to make that trade. The Wild also will need to pay Fiala and we'd be pressed for cap space here.

Wouldn’t you be more inclined to go out and get a guy like Raanta who has one year left on his deal or a guy like Georgiev. I like Kahkonen but not sure if he’s ready for full NHL season. Lots of questions in goal.

I'm not a Wild fan lol; I'm actually a Canes fan. I'm making a project of building rosters around the league that I think make a lot of sense if there's a flat cap and no CBO.
