I wouldnt even give up a 2nd for him, only because we already have so many Virtanens in our system and i dont want them to use 3+ mill on him

I don't think anyone is going to give you a first for Virtanen, and the issue may be moot if Micheal Ferland is permanently injured.

I figured with Ott drafting Byfield and Drysdale (hypothecial scenario of course), they could use some insulation, which Virtanen could give. Ott could have a pretty good looking lineup next year...

Your not getting a 1st round pick for Virtanen. Also they have no reason to trade Virtanen afters years of patiently developing him to a very useful player.
