Description
This is the 31 in 31 challenge. Do an AGM for each of the 31 teams in 31 days. This forces me to learn more about each team and how the lineups should/could look. To other users please feel free to participate, I'm looking for a challenge to keep me entertained.

Rules: 31 AGM's over 31 days, one for each team. Flat cap at 81.5. One CBO per team.

Please provide any feedback, I'm trying to learn more about each team here.

Buffalo's greatest strength: RHD depth
Buffalo's greatest weakness: holes in top 6, lack on NHL talent in bottom 6, inconsistent goaltending, scared GM, boom/bust players

Stepan has value. I think we are looking at adding the 2nd, not them. Probably add Asplund too.

That 2nd pairing will get us killed. Again. Forward group looks good, but there isn't going to be a CBO.

Also, Girgensons isn't taking a pay cut after this past season.

It's the first time I see that Ottawa trade. I find it really interesting. It helps both team. Tierney is still youngish and may become the third line center when Cozen is ready for top-6 duties. In the same way, Montour can remove pressure from their young Ds coming. As for the Arizona trade, I'm not sure. Has Stepan really that much of a negative value? I know the salary and the little production he provides, but he is still a talented player. And Raanta is a legit starter to me. I just don't know. By the way, is there a way to include Ristolainen to the trade? Arizona needs a RHD with some physicality. They have plenty of LD able to play both sides. A trade around Ristolainen, Thompson, Raanta, Stepan and one of Goligoski or Demers with picks added.

I don’t see why people like Wood so much. Just average for almost 3 million

I like trade of Stepan and Tierney but I would only do one of them so they could be the 2nd center allowung Mittelstadl to be on the 3nd pair whole Cozens continue his development. However I don't think Arizona his willing to move Raanta. I also think Sens like Tierney I think Sens wants to see how the season will go before going that trade.
Ristolainen also said last season he wanted to be trade I don't know if that changed perhaps you could look at something but I like the job you've done.

Thanks for providing feedback. I see your point on Stepan and agree he has value, but if they want to sign Hall they gotta move cap, maybe we can take advantage of that. Z has been great, your probably right though, he will get closer to 1.5-1.8

Thanks for your feedback. If we would move Risto to Arizona, we wouldn't want another defenseman in return. As to the value of Stepan and Raanta, Arizona needs to move cap to sign Hall and I just figured they would sell low on them in order to do it,

He has good potential, plays physical, is very fast, and is hometown which you gotta like.

Risto never asked for a trade. A Finnish reporter said that he wasn't enjoying losing, which no one does. Some schmuck who translated it said that he was unhappy in Buffalo and wanted a trade. I'd give Mitts another year in the A to improve and Cozens can thrive as 3rd line RW especially with two vets in Stepan and Johansson on his line
