Yeah, that could be it, it would be simpler. I'm not a fan of those team and one fan of each team said it was horrible. Upgrade RW and C for Calgary and LW for Habs. I still think that there is a potential fit for a trade between them.

Two nothing prospects, a cap dump and a first for a second pairing D and a second line center. No, it's not a lot to give.

Building around captain Tkachuk
That lineup is more balanced. The trades are fair, I think, at least they are within realism gap. Some Habs fans may say that Gaudreau is another small player, but Tampa just showed that you build around talent and surround them with size and grit. They could get cheaply a player like Josh Anderson and some physical bottom 6 guys and they would be fine. But I'm just not sold on Murray with that salary.

I think that Leddy could be a good fit on Boston with the departure of Krug. Pretty cheap to acquire, could play second pairing with Carlo.

A bust and a second round pick in two years is pretty cheap for a top4 D, let alone the retention and the third liner.

Funny how Jets fans want others to overpay while they lowball to get top players. And you must pay in order to unload cap dump, not the other way.

Realistic trade
I'm not a fan of those teams, but I see that you included needs from both teams, C + RD for the ducks and goal + power to the Habs. Domi for Rakell is a wash, they are the same range/level of player. Comtois and Fleury + 2nd is interesting. Anaheim already have a few young power fowards in their system and their needs for a RD is big. I guess the value is realistic. Well done.

Quite frankly, after the numerous Perreault+2nd (or bust like Vesalainen and Stanley) for Domi from the Peg fans, Domi/Danault+1st+Caufield for Laine level of proposal aren't that bad. But hey, it's capfriendly were you make lowball offers and feel insulted when others teams fanbase say no.

Sabres
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Byrr</b></div><div>Hes an add that has very little value compared to the big value difference between Henrique and Risto. The Sabres have been trying to trade Risto now for 2 seasons and havn't been able to. You arn't getting a big return for him and definitely not a player worth a 1st.
On top of all that, Henrique has a 10 team NTC and noone wants to go to Buffalo. This is dumb.</div></div>
Like many on this site, you are overreacting big time. The difference between Ristolainen and Henrique is marginal, if any. You make it sound like Risto is an AHLer and Henrique is a star. But they are both 40-45 points players, but one is a youngish D with size and physicality, while the other has goal scoring abilities and faceoffs. And for a bad player at 5on5, Ristolainen has a higher DFF% vs elite competition than Henrique. And no need to be agressive toward Buffalo, it doesn't bring anithing to the discussion, this is dumb.

A small detail, but I think the Yotes would rather play Hill as a backup than get Stalock, even if he is cheap. Or maybe put Stalock in the AHL. That being said, very good trade.

His value and current playing level is probably limited to 2/3 seasons at best and anything over that term could turn into a lousy contract. He’s basically a season or two away from a training camp tryout anywhere other than a known commodity in Montreal. Like wpg sending pearrault and copp for kotaniemi</div></div>
He just had his best season at an almost PPG rate and he is soon to be a try out player? Come on. And your comparison is shaky.

You said that Tatar was old. It is not true. So, if you bring an argument, at least it has to be true. He is 29 years old, which is prime time for most hockey player, including Tatar. Obviously, like I said Jets want to keep Connor and they don't make that trade. But there are many valid points to be made for that. No need to create ones.

That's just untrue. People should learn how express an opinion honestly. That being said, Jets decline such a deal for a few reasons and the biggest being the contract situation of both Domi and Tatar.

You know that both teams fanbase can decline, right? A team may not like the value and the other has their needs not filled. It happens. It's not a competition of who dislike a trade the most.

The basis is interesting. But I would add a depth player with leadership going to Toronto, like Rowney idk.
