I thought he was playing top pair in LA though. Obviously not the best team, but he was playing with Doughty. I would have no problem playing Ferraro on the 2nd pair with Burns though.

Add another 2nd to the leafs deal and I think they bite. Or a prospect who’s close to nhl ready or let’s be honest and jones and labanc for a 6th and they buy out jones is a way more realistic bet

We aren't giving away Labanc just for them to take away Jones. Multiple teams have deals very close to this so I think it is fair. I would give Toronto a 3rd but that's about it.

I understand... I just feel labanc fell flat in his “show me” year and I’m not sold on him being top 6 or paying him top 6 dollars he accepts 3 at 3 I’m ok keeping him any more and I’d be willing to watch him walk.

I would think 3 million is the minimum. I would think around 3.5, maybe as much as 4. 3.5 or 4 million isn't bad at all for a 2nd line RW.

But he proved he’s not a 2nd RW last season. He’s a good 3rw and a2nd on a weak team

He's a middle 6 guy. 4 million or less for a middle 6 guy isn't bad.
