Mantha is not going anywhere, and Philly can get a much better offer for Ghost from another team.

Mantha is a RFA and is still under control where as Palmieri is a UFA after next year. Also Palmieri is 5 years older, not a thing a rebuilding team is looking for at this time.

Stop with the Kyle Palmieri for Anthony Mantha crap, Detroit has no use for a 29 year old Palmieri and i even doubt Detroit is on his trade list anyways. Yzerman will want a top 4 LHD for Mantha i'd imagine not a Palmieri that would walk after next season. Doubt New Jersey and Detroit make good trading partners here as both Detroit and New Jersey need to upgrade their atrocious D anyways Detroit says no and Palmieri isn't an upgrade over Mantha.

CapFriendly rule #1: If you can't spell him, you can't have him. And you've had the first overall pick twice now, so you don't get him for that reason, too.
