I like that you didn't try to cheat by giving Mikheyev league minimum.

The team is good but I'm not sure that's enough for Fabbro

I doubt it is. They need quality over quantity.

I was going to up it to a first and have the condition be an upgrade to 2 firsts but I feel like that would be an overpayment. I didn’t think the Leafs would give up that package with Kapanen substituting for Engvall because they definitely aren’t interchangeable in the lineup. Dermott is obviously the odd-man out this year, unless he switches sides (which we have no evidence to believe they are considering that) so that’s why I included him. Bracco has a big upside by scouting reports, but in Toronto he doesn’t stand a chance of getting the opportunity to prove himself in the show.

Would you consider adding Liljegren and taking out some of the picks?

I was trying to hold back from that because I’d like to think he’ll ease into the top 6 this year and be full time come 2021 playoffs. Maybe I’ll try this again but put Liljegren in the Fabbro trade, and try and bring back someone or something else in the Dermott deal.

This doesn't get Fabbro, Bracco has very little btw, he adds almost nothing to this trade.

Problem is cap. Nashville even with Turris buout can not take on cap. Next year Engvall makes 1.25 million and Dermott is. RGA where he gets at least 1 to 1.5 million, that is more than Fabbro makes next year. That is almost 2 million in cap that Preds are taking on and not getting that much better quality.
