Chicago is so screwed for the expansion draft although the I do agree with your post I think he should sign in Chicago too but Chicago already has Crawford Keith seabrook and hjalmarsson to protect as well as Kane toews anisimov and hossa so unless they trade one of those players to protect more than one of pokka Hartman van reimsdyk and Kruger they're gonna loose a key piece

Are the Hawks that close to the Cup though? Doubt if the Rangers either. Devils, Pens, Sabres, Canes might be nice fit for Vesey long term.

Yes the Hawks are close. A legitimate top 4, rookie of the year and league mvp. Definitely close.

There's lots of possibilities before the expansion. Trades will be made around the league for sure. That's not as big a problem as people think.

I agree. Don't forget Crow in net! He has become one of the League's better netminders on this elite and formidable club. I will say, losing so many LWers last summer was huge despite Panarin's stellar rookie year. Something can be said for overall continuity, although it is tough to keep everybody every year!
