Wow I don't even know what to think lol

Edit: what about a counter offer: Kyle Connor for Domi and Fleury with the jets throwing in a pick or a decent prospect

There will always be people to disagree so it don’t bother me that much. I think that they got a very good value for Laine who will probably ask for 9 to 10 millions on is next deal. With Caufield that have outstanding potential and a first round pick that is unprotected, those 2 pieces alone have already a very good value, adding to that a good third line players, and top 6 center and a very good right handed prospect defenseman. I think that its a good return.

This is a bad deal for Montreal but if your fine with it, ok

The main purpose was to get bigger and stringer on the wing. I know its kind of a overpay but that would be the price for a guy like Laine. But still this is extremely u likely to happen.

I don't know, Seby. To me, this deal looks like it is heavily slanted towards Winnipeg. Here's how I look at it:

Fleury is clearly a better prospect than Green. Let's assume that Perreault is more valuable than Lekhonen by roughly the same value (although I think many people would question that). In essence, then, those four elements of the trade even out. We're then left with Laine for Caufield, Domi and the 2021 first-round draft pick. That seems like a lot to me.

I am a Habs fan first! But I follow Pittsburgh since i am around 6-7 years old, back then Lemieux was my favorite players and still to this day. Always love that team even in the three season spent that they where total trash i was still on them. I am a big Pirates fan to. But Montreal will always be something else, my grand father have told me so much story about the great Habs dynasty when i was a kid that i grown up idolizing them.
