If they resign DiPauli he starts at 1C probably.
Cameron will play ahead of someone.

It's not a bad team. It's not great.
You are missing Hallander who most likely starts in WBS.
So I doubt they sign Berger.
Here is hoping Zohorna isn't soft. I know Pavlychev has a bit of a mean streak. Those two could be something else on a 4th line together.Doom and Gloom.

DiPauli has played exactly 0 games in WBS as a Center and maybe 10 in the top six.....
Hallander is staying in the SHL, its already been well reported.
Berger already signed.

Would love those two giants in the bottom six, agree there. I would like that to be true of Cam Lee, but they have POJ and two Vets in front of him. Sweezey not top 6 tho if he's not a RD

I did not realize he would not go to the AHL.
" If Hallander does not make the Penguins' NHL roster, the plan is for him to return to Sweden for the 2020-21 season, rather than play in the AHL."
NHL or bust lol

As for DiPauli , he's a natural center. Given the lack of anything there I think they play him there.
Because that is really weak down the middle.
Cassels was in the ECHL last year.
Bellerive is only 5'10 and projected as a winger. He also struggled last year.
and Pavlychev might not even play at the AHL level. I have read a lot he'll be in the ECHL. But I guess we'll see. They haven't even signed him yet, which is a very telling sign. He might not even get signed.
Which frankly would be a shame they didn't give him a chance. It's not like they couldn't sign him right now.

IDK, Cassels was their 1C most of the spring while DiPauli played 3/4LW. DiPauli hasn't played C since college 4-5 years ago (and was playing W a lot then too). He's not a C anymore, exclusive wing in WBS. He's also an UFA so may be gone anyway...

Bellerive maybe a W one day, but he played C 90% of the time in WBS last season. I mean he struggled the way any 20 year old will transitioning from an offensive role on a loaded WHL team to a bottom six C pro. He at least starts at C because of the lack of depth there. Def gets a C nod over a non C like DiPauli.

Ya they really need help at C
Ya hope they sign Pav, but he's probably not much of an improvement on a guy like Berger honestly, but at least he has upside/ size. I wonder if they wanna give him an AHL deal and he's going to try to get an ELC with another team.

Their D should be really good if Warsofsky stops being terrible. Forwards highly suspect.

Puustinen has another year on his Liiga contract, and would probably be the best player on this team if he did come over

Ya he’s really good, certainly could be an immediate AHL stud. Wouldn’t be that sure tho, plenty of great Liiga guys don’t translate

Good pens sleeper prospect
