Ottawa wont take the contract for these pieces. I would also love to see it but even if Ott was giving a 7th I think they want a bigger piece. This trade would warm me though.

I get what your saying but to me Loui, Reid and the 3rd make up what you would give away. And then you add in Toni Utunen who was a late pick who will be a top 6 shutdown defence man on a team Vancouver just has too many late round D who are panning out to hold onto him and that value gives you a decent pick back

Nobody would agree that Reid and a 3rd make up for a 2nd and Loui's 6 mil. We are at an impasse.
