How does the eligibility work for college players for the 2020 playoffs. Samberg just signed with them recently, but I’ve heard that he can’t play during the playoffs. Can someone explain how this works?

typically he would be allowed to play in the playoffs but his contract is actually dated to begin for the 20-21 season, which makes him ineligible to play in the 19-20 season playoffs. If he was signed to a ELC that began in the 19-20 season then he would be eligible for this years playoffs
