Do they tho? I still think Dubnyk can be a reliable backup and WIN gets a few other assets

I wouldn’t give up bellows to free up 3 mill in cap space. I’d rather bury komarov in the AHL

How about this:


Leo + Bellows + 4th for 3rd?

Cause you know very well that Bellows will never play the minutes he deserves as long as Trotz is around

I'm not a Bellows fan, but it's only $3m in cap space that it clears.

Dub hasn't been good for a couple of years. MN's system makes him look better than his stats. He's much closer to a waiver fodder/cap dump goalie than a NHL backup.

I mean he’ll have to. Trotz is terrible with young guys but you can’t bury them forever. Isles lack shooting talent, trading bellows would be a mistake unless it’s part of a bigger package to acquire a fairly young top 6 winger with term.
