St Louis trade wouldnt happen. The only thing anywhere close to being worth St Louis' 1st rounder is taking on the Steen contract and he has a full NTC. Hes not leaving a contender for Buffalo.

San Jose gives you our two most trade-able assets for a guy who’s looking like a bust, an undersized defenseman prospect a mid level defenceman prospect and a first???? San Jose says no this is not fair value guys

NHL already warned teams against doing this after that Washington Vegas trade. It will be viewed as cap circumvention.
