I like all this except resigning Strome. Seems particularly unnecessary with the Stepan trade.

Anton Lundell won't be available at #16 and it's unlikely that Seth Jarvis will be, either, although you might get lucky. Defensemen are more likely to slip this year than forwards.

pretty unlikely van bails on Marky.
If they did cap issues and ferland injury status means this cant go unless Baertchi and or Ericsson is off the books.
I added in Baer and Jolevi for a 4th

rangers are projected for 13th overall, right where lundell falls. the capfriendly draft ranking for rangers isnt accurate, better check tankathon.com instead. fair point about jarvis, just a huge fan of his

Seven teams in the West and five teams in the East have lower percentages than the Rangers. Calgary and New York have the same 79 points in 70 games but I think they're behind Calgary because they have more regulation wins than the Flames, which would make them 14th -- still a little too late for Lundell, in my opinion, but a better shot at Jarvis. But you're clearly right about me and CapFriendly -- they're not 16th.

its all good mate. im just a fan of both lundell and jarvis and a dream would be to get them. rangers possibily could get higher becuase if they beat carolina and toronto loses, they can get anywhere in the top 16, even as high as 9 i think. somewhere there

I like Lundell for my friends in Minnesota at 11. And I've seen Chicago guys saying that they might take him at 9 if they don't take the Russian goalie (which most of them prefer) because outside of LaFreniere, he's supposed to be the most NHL-ready of the top 10.

Way more complicated than that. I predict 19 & 21TML. That's if NYR beat Car & TML win, along with predicted upsets CHI, ARZ, WPG. OR if we lose, with TML win 10 22 ! If you don't like those upsets just slide our picks back...

Right I think he makes a lot of sense in this scenario you portrayed, move him to 3C. Chytil to 2C. Sutter to 4C. And deal Strome for picks.
