That's his value right now. He did have a really good year. People seem to think he's nothing but a cap dump

Wouldn’t say he had that good of a year and at the most he’d be worth like a 2nd and a 3rd not krebs tho

For Jaccob Slavin? I could have reasonably asked for more. He's that good. It's a high price, but it always is for someone of such a high talent

Fine but I wouldn’t do it. Suzuki is already a 2C. Probably more. Romanov will play top4 soon and one of the best player out of NHL. 1st this year is top 10 and 1st next year probably also. You want the equivalent of 4 high 1st round picks... no thanks

For a top 10 D man in the NHL? That'd be about the price.

He's a vezina calibre D man. No one laughs at any package for him. May it be a lot to give up? Sure. The dude was a PPG from the blueline, and was a top 3 player in terms of Norris voting before his injury.

I'm not LMAO. Stop being dumb. At the midway point of the season, Hamilton was 3rd in Norris voting. He's a Norris calibre D man and this isn't even overvaluing LOL

Yeah he was definitely having a great year but he's not worth anything near that.

He's not worth a spare goalie (cause they're gonna keep Markstrom) a prospect and 2 1sts? Yes he is lmao. Stop being biased, Hamilton was traded for the equivalent of 2 5th overall picks. He had high value when he came to Carolina. On the back of that season? Yeah, he has more value than that, and about this.

He was traded with a PPG defensemen (in the ECAC) and a 40 PT winger for a 40 PT winger and a 30 PT defensemen. Yes he's worth something, but not 2 first round picks that could both be top 10 picks, a potential future starting goalie and a decent prospect in Hoglander.

If this is the price Carolina is looking for from those players, it's the reason they are still on the team.

This is the price Carolina want because they do not want to give these players up. What you don't understand is it's going to take more than his value to get him from Carolina, because he's that good.

He was traded for 2 former 5th overall picks. 2 top 5 picks for a defender was a lot, but now he's a Norris candidate? He's easily worth the spare goalie Vancouver have who's lost a lot of stock this year due to Markstrom basically carrying the Canucks, a good prospects and 2 mid to late 1sts.

He was traded for two former 5th overall picks, doesn't mean they were worth 5th overall picks anymore.

Stop calling Demko a spare goalie, just because Vancouver doesn't need him doesn't mean he's worthless. It's like saying Primeau is worth nothing because we have Price. Why are you trying to trade him if he's so good?

Read the f**king title. That's why I'm trading him LOL.

As for Lindholm and Hanafin, both still had very high value. Hanafin was still regarded as one of the best D prospects in hockey. He was still holding his value at 5th overall. Lindholm was a little less than that, but he was constantly improving from year to year and proved he was still worth, maybe not 5th overall, but a 1st on his own would have been acceptable. You've seen how he exploded in Calgary, he was getting ready to do that in Carolina regardless. Hamilton held that much value.
