Koivu isn't gonna be resigned after the season

Wild say no, Foligno is too valuable to the team to get what is essentially Sam Anas and a 3rd round pick.

something more needs to be coming back in that brodin trade, 2nd round pick + a B-prospect at the LEAST.

Menell was in contention for AHL defenseman of the year, I'd rather not get rid of him for a left d. Kinda wanna see what the draft brings.

Leafs 2020-21 - My opinion
Zach Hyman said he would be willing to take a paycut to stay with the leafs, so I wouldn't worry about his contact too much.
Jack Campbell has been a career backup, he's not gonna be your next starter. But if you think you can win with a .900 svg, go ahead.

Not against this as a Wild fan, definitely think they take an LD with one of their two later picks. Kinda surprised Stranges wasn't picked.

Getting a Center
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>I'll bet he gets a call-up this year before Kupari, Turcotte, Madden or Thomas</div></div>
Yeah, but he's also older and been within the organization for longer. Call ups don't always go to the best prospect/player. Especially if it might slow down someone's development.

No, I was just saying that the Kings have more (and better!) options at C than the Wild and therefore would be more open to trading him. Definitely could've worded that better, sorry about that, not trying to diminish JAD's value. (As well as GM's knowing this, and could possibly use it to their advantage idk) Also, JAD is the 4/5th best CENTER prospect, Khovanov is the 3rd best PROSPECT. Scott Wheeler had JAD outside of top 10 prospects for the Kings.
Also I'm sorry about calling him JAR idk what i was doing

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>wabit</b></div><div>He's probably the best center (stats wise) on the market right now with spiking a career year. Ah the Strome brothers, the wannabe Staals.
I'm with the crowd of not signing a C this off season tbh. But Strome IS one of the best options available if you want to go that route.

Please tell me I'm not the only one that doesn't understand the big deal about Ryan Strome. The man that has only played good with Hart contenders. (Which the Wild don't have.)

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>Anderson-Dolan is rated on a par with Alexander Khovanov. Would you trade a C prospect LD, your fourth-best (out of 4) goalie prospect and two low-level draft picks for Khovanov?</div></div>
JAR is the 5/4th C prospect in the Kings system, Khovanov is the 3rd best prospect in the Wild system. I don't think their situations are super comparable. (I do think JAR is gonna end up not getting his worth, or being ridiculously overpaid for if he's traded tho)
But you do have a point, I wouldn't trade Khovanov for that.
(I would also say Warren is a B-Defensive prospect, but I'm willing to say I'm a little bias.)

My Guess
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>wabit</b></div><div>Spurgeon: the d-man who can't play a full season, get 40p/year, box out the crease, or carry a pairing. A top-10 d-man in the league is a joke. Heck, he's the 3rd best d-man on the Wild, and if Dumba finds his game from 18-19 again Spurgeon would be the 4th d-man on the team. Suter has by far been the best d-man on the team for years. Brodin was this year, then Suter.
Do realize that Rask's 5v5 totals were on pace with Zucker's last year? They were also better than Parise, Greenway, and Koivu. Rask isn't great by any means, but he's better than Wild fans give him credit for.</div></div>
<img class="for_img" src="https://ibb.co/Kr9Kk5j" alt="Kr9Kk5j">
Never said Zucc or Parise were better. Just that their buyouts were a lot worst.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>wabit</b></div><div>Zucc, Parise, or Spurgeon should all be ahead of Rask for a CBO.
I don't mind Rask on the team. He's overpayed but produces at a good pace for what he was given for playing time and linemates. I don't think BB liked/wanted him at all and he never even had a chance to even earn a spot in the lineup this year.</div></div>
I'm sorry SPURGEON??? SPURGEON??? THE GUY WHO IS CONSISTENTLY A TOP 10 D MAN IN THE NHL THAT'S WHO THE WILD ARE BUYING OUT???
On top of that, all those buyouts are looooonnnngggg, and you don't save any money. Worst comes to worst you can put them on LTIR and they earn their contracts there.
Also, Rask didn't get time because he sucked.

If a CBO happens Rask is the biggest candidate for it, there’s no way he plays next year. I do have some faith in Chucky, but I’ll concede that him at 2C is least likely to happen. I just think the GEEK line is to good to break up.
I really can’t see a trade happening offseason, everything is too off, but I’m also not a GM. Re-Signing Beck and Liambas given the amount of young guys in Iowa seemed to be a must for me at least.

eh worth a shot. im a sucker for midwest kids.
kings have too many prospects for anything to really be worth it.
