Why would they even think of taking Gards over Bean?

You would have to pay Seattle to take Gards

Gardiner is one of the few NHL proven OFD that will be exposed. Gardiner is a top 4 calibre D man, not a lot of those are going to be exposed. Bean is a prospect, do you want a mystery box or a known commodity when building a new team?

you underpaid everyone (again), still would be over the cap with a full roster (again) and still would be in cap hell the following year even if this magical fiction happened (again).

You don't need to carry 23 (again) and this is likely to be what everyone gets (again) and would be fine the year after because Niederreiter's contract comes off the books (again)

The guy says Gardiner to Seattle do that he has the money to sign Lehner and Hall, etc... 😂😂 and Jake Bean is getting way more than 800k if he resigns

tears of joy tears of joy. How is this underpaying Hall?!?!? Same with Lehner
The only one here who is underpaid is Hamilton by like 1.5mil

Bean has played 2 NHL games, he's making more than that? Right now he's not even gonna be in the NHL next year.

We can all look at the long term impacts by clicking on "long term outlook" we can see how little cap space Carolina would have.

Again, it is not realistic at all. You have bean making the team in 20-21 and then giving him a paycut over multiple seasons. Svechnikov will not be interested in signing a bridge deal, Hamilton will get more, everyone will get more.

Idk what to tell you man. They deffiently are taking Bean > Gardiner.

Hall will get more than 9mil. (or he signs elsewhere for more money)

    Foegs will be around 2.5m

Svech will het 7-7.5 on a bridge.

Hamilton asks for ATLEAST 9mil (or he signs elsewhere for more money)

Fleury 2mil+ (or he signs elsewhere for more money)

    you poor kid.

I swear to god i love this place. The guy that wouldn't trade Hamilton for JACK EICHEL also doesn't think Hamilton is worth more than 8 million

Hamilton is younger than Josi when he is gonna sign his next contract. Its also an open market so teams are gonna give him quite a bit. Roman Josi will be past 37 when his deal ends.
I would say between 9 and 10mil would be realistic

Svechnikov has come out and said publicly he wouldn't mind taking a shorter contract to help push for a cup as long as he eventually gets his payday LOL (Canescast, on the Hurricanes website a few months back). Bean I have making the roster because it needed a place holder, you can slot in Keane if you prefer. Hamilton won't get more because he won't get more than Josi, and no one else will get more LMAO

With a flat cap? I doubt it. The contracts will not be as lucrative while the cap is flat

Fleury won't get 2 mil, he's had a total of 10 good games in his career. You trade him before he signs for that much

Foegele has a career high of 30 points, he doesn't make that sort of money yet

On a flat cap, Neither Svech or Hamilton will get that kind of money, however both may take one year deals to get their big deals when the Seattle expansion draft money trickles through into the cap
