I like that package for Palmieri, my only issue is we have to wait a year on the pick. would you do the 2020 1st? It's almost a 2nd rounder at 29th anyway

I wouldn't. He's a rental for 20-21 so it's common to get the pick for '21

I'd do that trade value-wise as an Avs fan, though I'm not sure Palmieri is the best fit for this team as we already have shooters on the 2nd line. I'd also be surprised if NJ accept that trade as they can probably get a 1st outright for Palmieri. And acquire Zadorov in a separate trade for a 2nd + 3rd package.

As for the Jost trade, that's a pass.
