You’ll almost be better off doing a situation similar to Canucks where they made it a playoff protection and then make the 2021 pick the 2022 pick or You could do a similar situation to Ottawa where they went into the lottery, if they weren’t making the playoffs, and then decided if they were giving him this year’s pick or next year’s pick.

I genuinely like this trade. I might switch out Martinez only because he just got there and maybe Vegas wants to see if they would like to resign him but I'm not hard against moving him. I think if Martinez was Stastny I would 10/10 this but I'll 9/10 this anyway.

Stastny has a 10 team NTC. Maybe he waives it due to having only one year left, but I wouldn't expect him to be that thrilled going to a **** team that traded it's best player in ten years
