that's your opinion, maybe sign Shattenkirk to a 1 year deal since you'll need the more capspace you can to sign Ovi Vrana Samsonov

8 goals, 34 points in 70 games. 54.1% CF. he'll get closer to 4 mill on a 2 or 3 year deal

The issue is most those points came within the first 28 games when he scored 22 points. Next 42 games it was just 12 points. Will be interesting to see how the evaluate him.

that is also a very true fact. I had him in fantasy and dropped him when he went ice cold. I still think he'll get overpaid in F/A as most big names do

We've seen Shatty in DC. Not that interested in bringing in a guy who has been disappearing in the back half of seasons and Shattenkirk won't be looking for one year deal. He's also supposed to be a power play asset. He would't crack this power play except to replace Ovi at the end of one for six seconds. Your UFA signings leave the team with $171K in cap space to operate for the year. Again, Caps say no thanks.
