Description
I think the Sabres are in win-now mode with all of the moves they've made over the past few weeks. These are the players I would package the likely to be 7-8th overall for. Would like to know if any of these fanbases would be interested

Not interested in trading a top 10 pick for a guy in Mantha who has never scored more than 25 goals or 48 points and who is going to get overpaid and who already will be 26 before the season starts.

He will be 1 year younger than skinner was when he signed his deal and skinner had 244 goals when he signed his contract, mantha has 84

Conner is the jets most dangerous forward...

Ehlers game is nice but Conner gets the job done

If Ehlers played as much and on the 1st PP like Connor would he would have the same amount of points and probably more than Kyle has. I like Kyle don't get me wrong but he isn't good at creating offence and driving play like Ehlers, and is horrible in his own end and is a turnover machine while Ehlers is good defensively. The one thing Kyle has over Ehlers is finishing talent but not even by that much I would argue.

I would probably take that Meier trade depending on what the full package was.

If Buffalo can pick up a player like Domi or Ehlers or Lindholm with that pick they should seriously consider it. I don't think Adams is looking to make huge waves his first time in the pool so I doubt it happens, but it could result in balancing the top-6 and taking some pressure off Eichel.

I think at the end of the day, a move like this has to be done. You cannot risk wasting another 2-3 years on "hopeful" talent like Nylander and (as of now) Mittelstadt

Maybe but were would u put Ehlers on the first PP? Conner by the net is just as dangerous as Laine at his office imo Conner has 35 assists and 38 goals while being over ppg pretty sure those numbers alone show driving play and creating offence

Not worried bout the defence part.. it can be taught and hes still young.. us having no decent defense core to speak of just makes the hole feel bigger than it actually is

Really like them both, but think Conner has more upside.. if u look when he was drafted to now, every year he made huge strides, Ehler did as well but Conners were a bit bigger and his style of play perfectly suits today's NHL, Ehlers has a extra year on him as well

Honestly I dont even rate them in the same tier.. just my personal opinion.. btw dont mean playing abilities here but potential

What direction do you think the Sharks are going? All in for a cup or a rebuild? I'm genuinely curious. Do you think they will make any big moves this summer?

There is no rebuild coming. I wont say it again.
