Good UFA deals. Fair value on fair term in my opinion. Any reason not looking to lock domi up long term?

Pass on Brodie not because of value or skill but because of health concerns after his cardiac episode earlier in the year

Signing UFA’s may seem like a good idea to some people but for me it’s not worth it. You’ve added 11.5 million in cap which makes it very difficult to extend Gally, Domi, Tatar, Petry, Danault and give minor raises to RFA’s. I’m not saying all of them have to stay but adding that much cap really changes things.

What happened to Alzner?
Did he slip in the shower?
Didn't get hurt playing hockey!

Completely agree and just to add as well, the length of the new contracts added will make it very difficult to choose who to protect or not come the expansion draft in 21

I was too lazy to type a CBO for alzner, but that’s what I think will happen

I think Domi gets a short term deal. I think they love his attitude but they still won’t be sure of what they have in him

I don’t personally like loading up on FA’s but I don’t think Bergevin is going to have patience anymore. I have to believe it’s playoffs or he’s gone (but I have been saying that for a couple of years now)

I chose these 3 FAs because I think they all come with a warning label and that gives Montreal an opportunity. Tough to sign FAs in this market otherwise
