Former 4th overall pick and the talent is clearly there. If the hawks can get him to put it together in the NHL thats a type of move that helps immensely with the rebuild

Oh, I know that. I’m merely pointing out that if JP has an attitude as some have implied him to have, we won’t be a very good fit. We can’t even handle our own Finnish prospects with attitude problems, lol. Besides, 1st round picks don’t typically last in Chicago unless you’re name is Kane and toews.

Not really sure what finnish prospects you say we can't handle, Nylander has been fine. On pace for 30 points as a rookie, not bad at all. You've got a point about the other 1st round picks, lets just hope its better for Dach, Boqvist, Strome, Beaudan, and whoever we draft this year

Nylander is Swedish........

I’m talking about jokiharju. Also, while you are right on strome, I don’t completely count him since we didn’t draft him.

Oh believe me, I don’t know and I don’t speak to that. I have no idea if he has one, ChiHawk seems to think he does though. That’s the point I was making.

He didn't get the red carpet treatment which is why he's back in Finland playing requesting a trade.

Just because we traded jokiharju doesn't mean he was a problem. Same with tuevo.

Well, that’s the problem, cuz that’s the theory many have peddled. Lots of fans have claimed that because jokiharju didn’t stick around Chicago in the summer to train, he was being openly defiant. He was apparently sticking it to bowman, and we all know bowman needs to be the tyrant. Now me, if that story is true, I’m sorry, but if I’m a 20 year old in a foreign country with vacation time, I’m going home. Not to mention, if that was really the make or break with jokiharju, that is a really big problem. I still remember when he was drafted how excited he was. Then he gets dealt for the lesser nylander? Bowman has to grow the **** up.

Also, teuvo was the unfortunate victim of the bickell contract and the need to rid ourselves of it. Not attitude. Agreed.

Well, if that is the case, then bowman shouldn’t touch JP with even a 10 foot pole. We all know bowman loves absolute, tyrannical power like his father. As such, if he couldn’t even swallow his pride with jokiharju, no need to think he could with JP.

Hatter, these guys are paid very big money and are professionals...period. Jokiharju being defiant and taking for granted his opportunity is disgusting. A 20 year old making $925K a year to play a game....wake up and grow up fast...you won the freakin lottery and are being given a chance of a lifetime that millions of hockey players would die for. If those reports are true, I'm glad they booted him to the curb. The Hawks are one of the most respected organizations in the league (in the world) and is a top 5 team every player in the league would want to play for...it Joker can't appreciate that....GOODBYE. Nothing to do with Bowman, this was a team decision and pretty sure Toews, Seabs, Keith and Kane were consulted as they often are. Joker is now on one of the worst ran organizations in the league as a result.

Here's the irony too...as soon as the rink opened a couple weeks ago...guess who were the first three players in the door? Cat, Kane and ....wait for this....Nylander....speaks volumes while Joker is with mommy and daddy in finland.

Bowman does not alone run the team. He alone did not send of Joker.

This is a low risk option and has nothing to do with Joker.
