I think it’s a very decent trade for both clubs with the proper extensions in place. I’d say no from wild if domi commands 7 million to me he’s not consistent enough also I know some habs fan would argue but have a tough time viewing as a real top six C. Question his defensive awareness for centre ice.

Max Domi 1 for 1 for Jonas Brodin isn't happening, Domi isn't enough to get Brodin especially with an extension in place. it would need to be at least Domi+Montreals 2020/2021 2nd round pick at minimal. Bill Guerin will want more then just Domi in return for Jonas Brodin.

Im with you that's a lot of $$ but Evolving Hockey has Domi's projection at 8 x $8.5...25 y/o Center who had 72 pts a year ago...I'll bet his number ends up being pretty close
